Artist Statement

The Mystic's Tarot & Oracle Cards are assemblages, are collages. I drew from multiple graphic arts and image sources, working and reworking and mixing elements with graphic design software and on paper.
Artistically, my work lay in the main in conception and design and creating some of the artwork myself when needed, for example the Portal card. It is a combination of an existing purchased photo and my watercolor interpretation of it to create the expression that reverberated in my soul.
With each design, I asked myself if you would want to have this person, this flower, this animal in your life forever.
Each card is a message from my heart in the presence of the divine, crystallized over the course of days, weeks, months and years. Every step of the way, I opened myself to communion with the divine, song of my soul, seeking out and harmonizing hundreds of elements to express the higher truths about life that I've received in mystical experiences throughout my life.
Always, always, with every step, I thought of you. I wanted to create cards that could help you flow with ease into the divine space so that the love that is the heart of all life could nourish you in readings for yourself and for all to whom you offer readings.
