Katie Michaelson of The Daily Cuppa graciously invited me to publish regular Tarot readings in her Medium magazine.

They go live Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

For each reading, I meditate to open myself to divine guidance and then draw four cards for the four weekly readings. I, then, capture the download in writing and share it with you, dear reader. 

Each of us has all divine knowledge within us. For that reason, I encourage you to engage with the cards more than with my writing to allow your own inner wisdom and guidance to speak to you.

I created the Mystic's Tarot & Oracle Cards to be a catalyst for speaking with your sacred voice in ordinary daily life and helping others do the same.

The cards are rich in imagery to stimulate your imagination, what the philosopher, Henry Corbin, called "Imaginalis." Imaginalis is a process for reaching deeper truths through the creative power of human imagination. 

You can go by what I wrote and you can go by whatever gazing at the card brings forth from within you.

I encourage you to trust your inner wisdom first and foremost.

The Tarot that Empowers

Sometimes, it's incredibly helpful to receive sage advice from others. Other times, we turn outward to friend advice, self-help podcasts, books, various kinds of divination and psychism, when the best-suited answers are actually within us.

When you turn outwards, without noticing, you may give your power away to someone or something outside yourself instead of accessing the power and wisdom that reside in you.

The Mystic's Tarot says that the magic is not in the cards. They are catalysts for bringing out the magic that is in you.

Symbolism & Mythology in the Mystic's Tarot & Oracle Cards

​Carl Jung said that mythologies are expressions of the collective unconscious, expressing things that are hard to put in words, such as higher reality and earth wisdom. The Tarot so meaningfully illuminates and heals because it is enriched by myth and symbol-making across centuries and cultures.

The MTOC are so fruitful because they go beyond our species' dreams and aspirations to include Mama Gaia's world, reminding us that we are in kinship with all other life.

Everything exists and occurs in relationship with each other (interbeing) and the Tarot is a system that provides access to, and synthesis of, this relationship, rendering the fog that often surrounds us translucent and illuminated by the light of divine connection and Mama Gaia's love.
